With these methods the project assists these women in discerning the influence of patriarchy on their personal and faith stories and offers them an opportunity to encounter Jesus through biblical stories interpreted from a feminist perspective. Eight of the 11 participants experience an increase in self-esteem as measured by the Tennessee Self-Concept
