It concerns the development of a workshop and teaching manual on the biblical instructions which are given to parents.  The workshop is designed for Christian parents, and is constructed in such a way that it can best be used in church settings such as study groups, church training, weekend workshops, and retreats.  The major method of study and research was a personal in-depth study of scripture.  The results of the project were twofold.  First, it was established that a need exists for such a workshop within the ministry framework of the local church. These poor self-images seem to produce low self-confidence which affects the way persons express themselves as Christians and as human beings.  A Bible study undergirded by an investigation concerning self-image in the Bible, process theology, and psychosynthesis was posited to enhance self-image.  Such a Bible study, with careful attention to using both hemispheres of the brain, was constructed. A twelve week curriculum utilizes parables, personalities, and the Passion Week from the Gospel of Luke.  Youth to senior citizens involve themselves in a variety of learning activities.  A training manual exists in the project for those who want to develop a curriculum and lead intergenerational sessions.  The project includes a critique of intergenerational education from theological and educational perspectives. Findings conclude that this education is a valid approach for the church. The Navigator 2:7 Bible Study Series was the methodology used in this study. Southern Gables Evangelical Free Church, Denver, Colorado, provided the test groups in which growth or non-growth in discipleship was measured.  Measurement of progress was based on a testing instrument developed around the Navigator 'wheel' illustration.  The project concluded that the 2:7 Bible Study Series can provide structures that will stimulate growth in
