The final Sumbi CBS was based on research of sixteen different CBS sets, expat and national experts' input, the author's worldview study and the author's field test with thirteen national church planters. Key CPM principles implemented through CBS include sowing the Word abundantly, finding a Person of Peace, leading an oikos to Christ, forming House Churches, and equipping lay leaders. For the purpose, first of all, this thesis-project examines the past and present of the Korean Protestant Church. Secondly, this thesis-project explores the spirituality of the Korean Protestant Church and the cultural factors which influenced Christianity in Korea. Thirdly, this thesis-project observes the place of the Bible in the Christian tradition and lectio divina in Guigo II's book, The Ladder of Monks. Fourthly, this thesis-project examines the relationship between lectio divina and non-Christian Korean culture, Korean Protestant spirituality. This thesis-project also suggests both an individual lectio divina and communal lectio divina for the Korean Protestant Church. The resource has five sections intended to be taught as individual sections in a classroom setting or to be used by an individual as a  tutorial. Included in the resource as one of the sections is the Torah translated from Hebrew to English with a side-by-side comparison of both languages in manuscript style. As the fields of Oral Interpretation and Performance Studies show, the Bible is best heard when performed. Preachers who internalize texts speak from a personal encounter with the Word. The thesis studied how a weekly scripture by heart practice serves to focus the preacher's attention, engage the imagination, inform exegesis, and guide sermon preparation.
