Pilot tests and field experiences were among church Bible study groups.  Findings include: the overview approach was well-received, users gained confidence facilitating studies and sharing events from the life of Jesus, sharing among participants was good, and users felt a closer relationship with Jesus. By means of a survey, the author discovered the scenarios in which historical geography had most affected its students. The research demonstrates historical geography remains indispensable to biblical interpretation, provides a greater confidence in the Bible as God's Word, and instills a greater love for God and the Bible.
