The project focuses on the process of developing a setting in which congregation members confront the Word and subsequently experience the dynamic unity and interdependent diversity generated by the Word within the Body of Christ. A system which included the development of a diocesan armed forces was established and chairpersons were appointed by the bishops to assist congregations in becoming caring people for those away from home.  This project was given theological and biblical impetus through the study of I Corinthians 12.
