The project was done with the hope that such an examination would enable the church to experience healing, reconciliation, and renewal.  The report discusses the arena for ministry and the author's methodology for interpreting the Letter to the Ephesians.  Included with the report is an exegesis and interpretation of Ephesians 1-3. The author suggests that the popular understanding within certain evangelical quarters of present experiential sanctification as being a struggle-free activity necessitating little or no human effort is erroneous, and that Christians possessing such an understanding can be guided effectively to a more biblical perspective through a carefully designed and implemented course of instruction.
