Many churched men and women are unaware of the foundational principles for life together revealed in Genesis.  Biblical teaching on women's roles is given significant attention. Resolution on this issue is necessary if men and women are to glorify and enjoy God together as God intended from the beginning.  Interviews, surveys, and evaluations from various presentations provided direction for a final teaching presentation. Handouts, PowerPoint slides, and full scripts are included. Using the story of Jacob wrestling with God in Genesis 32:22-31 as a backdrop against which we might view suicide in more compassionate ways, the author brings our attention to the graciousness of the Divine in matters of complexity, where there is grayness and a shadow side.  This is a phenomenological study that explores the concepts of 'blessing' and 'wound' - what it is like to live with 'both/and,' rather than overcoming, as Jacob needed to learn to live with both a blessing and a wound.
