It begins with background information regarding population statistics, physical, psychological, behavioral and spiritual characteristics and living situations of older persons. The author reviews sections of Luke and suggests insights regarding spiritual meanings of the texts for the two populations. She reports on 'Spirituality and Aging' projects with older persons from each population. She responds to the questions regarding spiritual implications of the characteristics of the two populations.  She finds that Scripture is meaningful to the two populations and that they benefit from projects like those she develops.
