Matthew"],"language_tesim":["English"],"abstract_tesim":["The author's purpose was to use creative stories (self-written and/or collected) to illustrate and illuminate the Beatitudes of Matthew 5:1-12 so they might be more easily incorporated and retained in the lives of hearers.  Over a period of 13 weeks the author presented stories over each beatitude, using pre-tests and post-tests, to measure any changes on the participant that may have been a result of the story's influence.  One week after the story the author presented a sermon on the previous beatitude to help underscore the point of the story itself.  At the beginning and end of the project, spiritual growth assessment inventories were administered to determine any overall changes in attitude and action. Matthew","Conflict management"],"language_tesim":["English"],"abstract_tesim":["Would instructing employees in a Christian ministry organization in how to implement the dialogical conflict resolution methodology in applying Matthew 18:15-17 indicate that these employees will more effectively resolve conflict? The research administered the Thomas-Kilmann Conflict Mode Instrument (TKI) and four employee conflict resolution seminars to Christian school faculty members to measure relatively effective employee conflict resolution behavior.  There were no statistically significant results between pretest and posttest for the total group or for the men or women faculty. Bosch's reading of the Gospel of Matthew, in dialogue with the Committee on Evangelism and Church Development of the Presbytery of Tampa Bay, in the hope to visualize from a theological perspective the contribution that immigrant groups can bring to the mainline traditions.
