The pastors living within the boundaries of the Presbytery of Northern New York completed a test and a questionnaire was submitted to executive presbyters in the Synod of the Northeast.  The author ascertained that burn-out and stress was indeed a problem.  Three specific projects were initiated for evaluation and testing.  They included a retreat, pastoral supervision model and pastoral/clergy support group.
