To deepen the project the author used theological and psychological materials such as the theory of Donald Capps, the spiritual theology of Ponticus Evagrius, and the psychology of Korean people.  As a result of that practice, we obtained encouraging results.  When we heard others' inner stories, we used to hastily analyze and judge them.  But now we try to listen and sympathize. These include: the directive style of the Word where the primary resource person is Eduard Thurneysen; the nondirective style of acceptance and relationship where the primary resource person is Carl Rogers; and the hermeneutical/narrative style where the primary resource persons are Donald Capps, Charles Gerkin, and Charles Winquist.  Six case studies are represented in which the hermeneutical/narrative style is put into practice.  The pastoral method in each case study is evaluated.
