The Singapore situation has shown that committed women motivate through modeling biblically and equipping a selected few in the context of a small group or living together.  Mature disciples trained in ministry apartments have been reproducing, thus augmenting the local churches. Disciple-making programs provide opportunities for the exercise of God-given abilities and enhance international networking. After surveying the perceived spiritual formation needs of students in one seminary, four teaching/learning activities were designed and implemented.  Although the whole project was carried out within a period of only eight weeks, there was a favorable response to the learning experiences and some progress in the use of spiritual disciplines was revealed. It used a case study method that observed ten spouses of deceased cancer patients.  The author planned and implemented the pilot project to meet the needs of the spouses.  He conducted five training sessions with three spouses and took each spouse to visit two other bereaved spouses.  The project included the trainees' views about the development of a lay grief counselor network. Divorced people had the opportunity to get together and learn what Matthew 19:1-12 and other texts teach on divorce. This study identified a course of action for offering marriage enrichment to ministry couples.  A couples group was added to a Clinical Pastoral Education unit, an established course of study required by seminaries.  The method was a case study completed with six couples with pre and post testing. The program revealed that these people can be reached spiritually.  Their reliance on story and relationship precludes the use of any formulaic approach.
