Will a course which teaches the foundational truths of Christianity, appeals to their culture, and suits their present environment help them?  An introductory course was tested with a group of Chinese migrants in Australia. Written quizzes, questionnaires, and interviews would indicate that participants understood the fundamental truths taught, and showed interest in studying the Bible and knowing Jesus personally.  The thesis has two major underlying principles.  Evangelism and discipleship should not be separated. A training course of 12 sessions was conducted.  Instruments used for measurement included a pre- and posttraining questionnaire, quizzes, weekly journals, the seminar evaluation form, and the analysis of the participant's family autobiography.
