This project assesses vital signs of effective multiple-staff ministries or church pastoral teams among Chinese churches in the United States. The project surveyed 30 such churches, selecting 10 for closer scrutiny. The project in particular examines the CRC's need to fulfill the 'Great Commission'--a study that can be applied to other denominations.  The project describes in detail the theological conflict between recent traditional Reformed missiology and evangelistic necessity.  This conflict provides a breeding ground for complacency and inwardness, and it further retards the mission that the church intends to promote.
