Three testing instruments assesed marital satisfaction while three others assessed problem-solving skills, self-esteem, and personal tendencies. A pre-test and post-test was administered on two representative groups of fifteen members of First Christian Church.  The experimental group was given four lectures on Campbell's pacifism in addition to a series of peace sermons.  The control group heard only the sermons. Correlation is shown between the faith stage of clergy using the interview designed by James W Fowler and the type and style of continuing education they choose. As a result, a single program was begun in 1988 based on the cultural context of Zaire that integrated all the existing forms of leadership training to recruit and train the leaders needed to serve the entire denomination and the local churches. After constructing an historical survey of Christian attitudes toward visual art, it lays a theological foundation for the use of art in religious expression. Disciples have largely ignored Epiphany, providing deficient educational and liturgical materials for its observance.  A theological/historical rationale recommending the celebration of Epiphany was developed; preaching, worship and educational resources were project-generated.  Pre and post-project surveys demonstrated that clergy are more informed regarding the nature of Epiphany than about its historical development, liturgical celebration, and educational observance.
