Adults must be engaged in mission for, by, and with youth and never fail to recognize them as a part of the people of God. An experientially oriented four-session course was developed for 42 ninth-grade confirmands and their parents.  Five instructors were trained as small group leaders.  A pre-test and post-test was administered to the confirmands and parents, and a follow-up interview was conducted by the two pastors.
