The use of a worship committee is a logical outgrowth of a theology of participation.  The basic purpose of the study was to develop a worship committee planning model and to test this model by offering a training course to worship planners from four diverse Mennonite congregations.  The effectiveness of the model and the course were evaluated by course participants.  Both were strongly affirmed. The project instructs worship leaders and congregations in the overall theology of baptism and how to express that theology through the design and implementation of a baptismal liturgy.  The project was implemented in two phases.  The first was an eight-week study of the institution, meanings, and practice of baptism. The second phase was to design and implement a baptismal liturgy that focused on the celebration of baptism as an act of worship. The project accomplished this task through a six-week course on worship for kindergarten/first grade children and their parents, children's bulletins, two sermons, a pew pamphlet, and a baptism renewal/baptism service.  The report establishes the need along with the theological rationale for including children in worship. The two main objectives of the study are to minister to the spiritual needs of the gay/lesbian person and his/her family, and to design and implement a method of instruction which can help others better understand the needs of gay/lesbian persons and minister to them in the community of believers.  The latter objective is addressed through the design and testing of a workshop format which included general information on homosexuality, social issues, AIDS, Scripture and theology and general ministry to and with homosexual persons. The author tested three groups of third and fourth graders, all of whom used the same curriculum.  Two groups were taught in the traditional manner, with lessons outlined in the teacher's manual.  The lessons taught to the third group were supplemented with archaeological artifacts.  A pre- and post-test measured the differences between the groups and the author interviewed the teachers involved with the students.  There was an encouraging difference between the experimental group and the two control groups. There is a need to identify the link between the ministry of early Christians and the contemporary situation. This project researches, designs, and carries out an experiential adult seminar on sacramental healing ministries.  The author discovers that adult experiential education for sacramental healing ministries provides a link between the ministry of Jesus, the early church and the contemporary situation. A program of education and reflection in a parish addresses the disparities in one local situation. Five Wesleyan doctrines are joined with fifteen of Charles Wesley's hymns.  The author attempts to deepen the congregation's theological knowledge, develop their awareness of the hymns of Charles Wesley, deepen their appreciation of his hymns, and impact their spiritual life.  The project includes five study sessions and five sermons preached in appropriate worship settings. Control groups measure the success of the project.
