This project evaluated core classes in light of the Apostle Paul's goal of strengthening churches and their members, the biblical content of the kerygma and the didache necessary to strengthen every Christian, the means of instruction for facilitating lifelong learning, and the means of assessing the progress of the learners as a result of the teaching. The research design combines feedback from church leadership and participants as well as non-participants in the classes through surveys and open-ended interviews. Evaluative research formed the basis of inquiry exploring 2 Corinthians 3:18, its surrounding context (3:1-7:1), Exodus 33:18-19 and Genesis 3:1-6 to form a biblical framework of creation, fall and redemption. The Transtheoretical model derived from studies of addictions and best-of-practice interviews supplied training insights. If a church-based women's Bible study program aims to grow strategically, numerically and in biblical depth, it must consider the best way to solve this problem. This thesis-project argues that the alternative to training successful lecturers is to turn to video lecturers who cannot as effectively shepherd the flock, be as accessible as role-models of Christ-like character nor be available to answer questions, both of a biblical and personal nature. The thesis begins by surveying the congregation to learn about their three greatest personal crises.  Thirteen messages were delivered on Sunday mornings to address these crises.  Detailed fill-in-the-blank sermon notes were included in each Sunday's bulletin.  These inserts were accumulated into a resource booklet after the project as a quick reference tool to assist the congregation in caring for their neighbours, family and friends during a future crisis. In order to answer this question, the following topics will be researched in order to determine which of the major economic systems best adheres to the biblical material: stewardship, freedom, work, justice, mercy and the economic systems.  The goal of this thesis project is to create a seminar on the Christian worldview of economics that can be used to educate Christians about biblical economic principles and to survey Christians about their worldview of economics in relation to the marketplace.  I expect the seminar to help Christians make a stronger connection of their faith to work. The seminar was designed for Heartist Ministries, which is my own para-church worldview training and apologetics ministry, but it can also be easily adapted for a church Sunday School curriculum or formatted for an at home small group Bible Study program. The approach is an integration of scripture, self-esteem, and United Methodist doctrine in a series of sessions that include lecture and discussion. The project did not produce results outside standard deviation. The main reason for this appears to be cultural;  a Korean cherishes his honor and tends to keep up appearances. The Korean term for this is che myun. To overcome this cultural barrier, the project leader developed the delayed-response invitation program. He projects this program to be a more effective invitation method for Korean people than the immediate-response invitation. The project involved evangelistic preaching, the project leader made an announcement that a class would start the following week for those interested in learning more about the Christian faith. Those who responded to such an invitation were connected automatically to a four-week teaching program. This project focuses on current patterns, priorities, topics and resources for new member education within the Presbytery of Greater Atlanta. A survey was sent to all congregations within this diverse Presbytery. Responses show that a majority of congregations offer new member education, with a high percentage of participation. Introduction to the Reformed, Presbyterian tradition is one of three equal priorities.
