Thirteen parents (eleven women and two men) considered developmental and child-rearing models, researched their findings and reflected personal experience within a supportive atmosphere.  The result of their interaction was a cyclical, sensitizing process which could have transferable applications within other contexts. It involves two types of schools, 'accelerated Christian education' and the 'traditional classroom'.  Research includes a survey, on-site visits, focused interviews, school materials and published literature.  The history, doctrine and philosophy of education is investigated and comparisons are made between the schools in organization and operation. This project offers alternate television programming from a Christian perspective for children in Arlington, Texas, by producing three pilot episodes of a children's television show.
