This project is an exploration of the assertion that parents and church leaders should guide their children in order to lay foundations for faith.  As a practical application of this assertion the author provides a curriculum for postmodern families to access as an at-home worship and Bible study experience.  The paper includes a theology for the family, an exploration of the church's role in spiritual formation, and the literature review. The author studied developmental theorists and James Fowler's stages of faith.  She then developed a chart that correlated the accepted stages of physical, cognitive, and emotional development with Fowler's stages of faith. This was done with a view of finding ways to improve it and make it more effective, both in communicating content as well as motivating the students to personally apply the truths learned. Use was made of focus groups to evaluate the effectiveness of the prepared curriculum.
