The study was conducted over five semesters while teaching a course titled 'Women and Religion' for Chapman University. For purposes of comparison and contrast, the author declared her feminism in the first semester but not in subsequent semesters. A biblical, theological summary of discipleship precedes information regarding discipleship processes through Training Network International (T-Net).  Bolman and Deal's organizational frames help evaluate Southern Baptist discipleship materials and T-Net.  Survery results from Southern Baptist, T-Net-participating church members in Virginia, North Carolina, and South Carolina show T'Net's impact on discipleship involvement and vitality.  There is interview data from twelve church leaders, detail on Culpeper (va.) Baptist Church's T-Net implementation, and an interview with Southern Baptist discipleship leader, Roy T. A Student Manual and a Teaching Supplement are provided to accomplish that task.  Because Biblical Preaching is conceptual by nature, the principles can be difficult to remember and harder yet to apply for the typical minister. This thesis attempts to make those concepts easier for the student to remember and apply. It also provides teaching strategies and goals for the teacher. The thesis uses an indicative approach to teaching rather than a deductive approach. It also uses The Systematic Design of Instruction, by Walter Dick and Lou Carey, for teaching to offer exact goals and measurable objectives. Opening with the possibilities of Multiple Intelligences in the adult classroom, the second chapter examines how the MI theory functions within current materials.  The third chapter develops a prototype Bible study specifically using MI theory.  The fourth chapter is a critical self-evaluation of this project and what this project might add as a resource for the adult Christian education leader.
