The field work research methodologies included e-mail questionnaires, writing of seminar teacher and student manuals, receiving peer evaluation of curriculum, and recruiting, teaching, deploying, and evaluating volunteers through a mentoring process. The seminar taught foundations for spiritual care, understanding older adults, basic guidelines for visitation, and the skills of listening spiritual assessment, prayer, and the use of scriptures. The project succeeded in training 38 individuals and deploying nine volunteers who provided 315 visits to residents. The intent of this project was to give teachers the skills needed to help them lead this demographic group effectively.  During the first phase of the project, research was conducted to understand learning styles.  The second phase of the project was the developmental stage.  The project director used research results from phase one to develop a plan to equip teachers to lead Generation X effectively in Bible study.  The third phase of the project was the implementation phase in which the project director trained a selected group of teachers at Liberty Park Baptist Church to lead Generation X. The project is an equipping model workshop which moves the team from knowledge about strategy to the ability to put in place a clear strategy for action when implementing a program ministry.  The workshop consists of four sessions that move the team from discovery to action.  The results of the workshop lead to specific outcomes from the team. Upon completion of the workshop individual action plans are assigned to each team member which are submitted to the project director one week after the assignment is given.
