The ethical culture of the church must be improved and uplifted in order to become the witness of the gospel in today's age. Therefore, the emphasis upon ethical culture and the practice of a faithful witness are closely related. This dissertation represents an effort which try to viable ethical culture of the church in Taiwan in two dimensions: first, there is a reflection on both the content of the Christian faith and the witness in real life; secondly, to explore the possibility of a working model for teaching ministry in which the ethical culture of the whole church could be awakened."],"rights_statement_tesim":["https://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/"],"thumbnail_path_ss":"/assets/work-a3b75da7abded620ab321410c80d102e5e2417b71c54de7ba7d4b0363da904f7.png","suppressed_bsi":false,"actionable_workflow_roles_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-approving","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-depositing","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-managing"],"workflow_state_name_ssim":["deposited"],"member_of_collections_ssim":["Miscellaneous"],"member_of_collection_ids_ssim":["4f3e9d5f-fc19-4d44-a264-44b56604eb9a"],"visibility_ssi":"open","admin_set_tesim":["Metadata Only"],"account_cname_tesim":["rim.ir.atla.com"],"human_readable_type_tesim":["Etd"],"read_access_group_ssim":["public","work_editor"],"edit_access_group_ssim":["admin"],"edit_access_person_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"_version_":1791130384409296896,"timestamp":"2024-02-17T07:30:44.946Z","score":1.0},{"system_create_dtsi":"2023-10-12T03:34:07Z","system_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-17T08:31:32Z","has_model_ssim":["Etd"],"id":"f654298a-df23-4939-96b0-ce783d9231f9","accessControl_ssim":["990a9886-a6f0-4bde-b68f-8a9f20dc3be4"],"depositor_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"depositor_tesim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"title_tesim":["Will a short-term course for church leaders on evaluating a reward system help the leaders evaluate the consistency of their reward system?"],"date_uploaded_dtsi":"2023-10-12T03:34:07Z","date_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-17T05:10:02Z","isPartOf_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8"],"hasEmbargo_ssim":["8797010b-4c42-432a-a4d5-d2643d635a6b"],"hasLease_ssim":["b0a6a959-f100-4960-9a9a-951b8a28e81e"],"show_pdf_viewer_tesim":["1"],"show_pdf_download_button_tesim":["1"],"institution_tesim":["Atla RIM"],"degree_tesim":["Unknown"],"degree_granting_institution_tesim":["Denver Seminary"],"advisor_tesim":["William Klein"],"year_tesim":["1994"],"resource_type_tesim":["Unknown"],"types_tesim":["Text"],"creator_tesim":["David R Osborn"],"publisher_tesim":["Denver Seminary"],"subject_tesim":["Reward (Ethics)","Christian ethics","Punishment","Clergy--Professional ethics"],"language_tesim":["English"],"abstract_tesim":["A short-term course for church leaders on evaluating a reward system will help leaders evaluate the consistency of their reward system with their espoused values. It was found that some minimal change in thinking or attitudes was achieved with the use of films and also with the use of discussion following the film screenings."],"rights_statement_tesim":["https://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/"],"thumbnail_path_ss":"/assets/work-a3b75da7abded620ab321410c80d102e5e2417b71c54de7ba7d4b0363da904f7.png","suppressed_bsi":false,"actionable_workflow_roles_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-approving","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-depositing","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-managing"],"workflow_state_name_ssim":["deposited"],"member_of_collections_ssim":["Southern Baptist Theological Seminary"],"member_of_collection_ids_ssim":["55f1694e-f3f1-43ea-8ca9-da9a2899defe"],"visibility_ssi":"open","admin_set_tesim":["Metadata Only"],"account_cname_tesim":["rim.ir.atla.com"],"human_readable_type_tesim":["Etd"],"read_access_group_ssim":["work_editor","public"],"edit_access_group_ssim":["admin"],"edit_access_person_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"_version_":1791128946135269376,"timestamp":"2024-02-17T07:07:53.301Z","score":1.0},{"system_create_dtsi":"2023-10-12T02:16:10Z","system_modified_dtsi":"2024-05-22T02:48:49Z","has_model_ssim":["Etd"],"id":"95da1895-6db7-41eb-9f1b-8298f13274a6","accessControl_ssim":["09759a25-d1c6-4ab6-8c9e-dc0e969c69dc"],"depositor_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"depositor_tesim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"title_tesim":["Values for discipleship training for ministry"],"date_uploaded_dtsi":"2023-10-12T02:16:09Z","date_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-17T02:31:11Z","isPartOf_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8"],"hasEmbargo_ssim":["ce9de862-0d8d-4a0e-865d-9a8dda9098e7"],"hasLease_ssim":["7687f709-dac6-4466-a22f-b180654b0570"],"show_pdf_viewer_tesim":["1"],"show_pdf_download_button_tesim":["1"],"institution_tesim":["Atla RIM"],"degree_tesim":["Unknown"],"degree_granting_institution_tesim":["Trinity Evangelical Divinity School"],"advisor_tesim":["Richard Allen Bodey"],"year_tesim":["1992"],"resource_type_tesim":["Unknown"],"types_tesim":["Text"],"creator_tesim":["Willis Dowling"],"publisher_tesim":["Trinity Evangelical Divinity School of Trinity International University"],"subject_tesim":["Christian ethics","Christian education","Christian life","Church work"],"language_tesim":["English"],"abstract_tesim":["This project was designed to help the class grow in discipleship, biblical-theological understanding, and leadership through personal ministry. If it is, who decides what the center and those boundaries are? The church needs a model which accepts as a cultural given the moral autonomy of the individual, yet which also believes the Christian community has a significant role to play in helping its members make their moral decisions. Since moral authority no longer comes from the 'top down,' does that mean the church must leave each individual alone to be his/her own authority on all moral issues? Or is there a middle ground where genuine moral discourse can take place? The local congregation offers the best hope for the kind of moral dialogue and decision-making which accepts the reality of individual autonomy while re-creating the possibility of community consensus on moral norms."],"rights_statement_tesim":["https://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/"],"thumbnail_path_ss":"/assets/work-a3b75da7abded620ab321410c80d102e5e2417b71c54de7ba7d4b0363da904f7.png","suppressed_bsi":false,"actionable_workflow_roles_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-approving","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-depositing","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-managing"],"workflow_state_name_ssim":["deposited"],"member_of_collections_ssim":["Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary"],"member_of_collection_ids_ssim":["0f245891-e4c1-47d9-842b-9aefbafae138"],"visibility_ssi":"open","admin_set_tesim":["Metadata Only"],"account_cname_tesim":["rim.ir.atla.com"],"human_readable_type_tesim":["Etd"],"read_access_group_ssim":["public","work_editor"],"edit_access_group_ssim":["admin"],"edit_access_person_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"_version_":1791135384477892608,"timestamp":"2024-02-17T08:50:13.383Z","score":1.0},{"system_create_dtsi":"2023-10-12T01:50:22Z","system_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-17T08:10:04Z","has_model_ssim":["Etd"],"id":"c99cce86-2519-4fe1-bd24-3bc4dcec526e","accessControl_ssim":["146d0bee-e9c9-4c8b-8734-b03fab88d5c0"],"depositor_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"depositor_tesim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"title_tesim":["A project to facilitate the demonstration of biblical love by project participants in the First Baptist Church"],"date_uploaded_dtsi":"2023-10-12T01:50:21Z","date_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-17T03:55:28Z","isPartOf_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8"],"hasEmbargo_ssim":["dec59259-8e59-4d75-b00d-889b5daf929d"],"hasLease_ssim":["7523eb41-10cc-4ad5-8d9d-c4a4acaeb45e"],"show_pdf_viewer_tesim":["1"],"show_pdf_download_button_tesim":["1"],"institution_tesim":["Atla RIM"],"degree_tesim":["Unknown"],"degree_granting_institution_tesim":["Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary"],"advisor_tesim":["Barry Stricker"],"year_tesim":["1990"],"resource_type_tesim":["Unknown"],"types_tesim":["Text"],"creator_tesim":["Edward Jordan"],"publisher_tesim":["Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary"],"subject_tesim":["Interpersonal relations","Love--Religious aspects","Christian ethics","Devotional literature"],"language_tesim":["English"],"abstract_tesim":["This is a project to facilitate the demonstration of biblical love (agape) by participants.
