Theological insights from J Fowler, ethicist Glen Stassen, and Craig Dykstra were woven into a complex decision-making model for ethical decision-making. Literary research from Chile, as well as the United States, revolved around the cultural factors that operate within this focused Latin American community.  Theological, pastoral, and structural factors were considered as well. The social research tools involved structured interviewing and pretest/posttest questionnaires. One cause is a lack of proper focus on the doctrine of heaven.  Using before and after testing of a class taught using a nine-lesson curriculum based on a lay-oriented book on this doctrine, the study concludes that this book and curriculum were effective in positively influencing the understanding of and attitude toward heaven in the test group.  Such an improvement led to better motivation toward personal godliness and witness in almost all students. This thesis has been tested by combining historical/exegetical investigation of the Thessalonian correspondence with a course in which believers sought meaningful interaction with the Lord of whom the letters speak. Mature disciples trained in ministry apartments have been reproducing, thus augmenting the local churches. Disciple-making programs provide opportunities for the exercise of God-given abilities and enhance international networking.
