Chapter three demonstrates how open/outreach and closed groups were created. The fourth chapter assesses the effectiveness of the church in developing a mobilization program. Six practical teaching lessons instruct people about Christ and his relationship to the church, guide attendees into active involvement in church ministries, teach them the biblical basics and benefits of membership, and help those who are ready to take that step of involvement. Pre-test and post-test questionnaires measure commitment level. TELL is unique in that (1) it utilizes the Law (Ten Commandments) in showing non-Christians their need for a savior; (2) it utilizes tests for true salvation from the book of 1 John to help people discern if their profession of Christianity is real; and (3) it emphasizes our identity in Christ in discipleship before emphasizing spiritual disciplines such as Bible reading, prayer, and witnessing. Encouragers will be trained to assimilate and disciple new converts through an introductory retreat, eight weekly sessions, and four follow-up sessions. The paradigm was presented in a series of five sermons and teaching lessons to the congregation of Berean Grace Fellowship, and in a series of five sermons to the pastor's conference of the Grace Gospel Fellowship. The two groups of respondents received the same information about the paradigm. After the presentations were completed, a post-evaluation assessment was administered to evaluate the impact, adequacy, and presentation of the paradigm. This ministry model results in the development of the pastor (or bishop) as a chief discipler and the development of church members as disciples who are empowered to disciple others into church relationship and to help those currently members to grow to Christian maturity. Five small group experiences were researched over a two-month period: guided imagery, lectio divina, covenant discipleship, praying the office, and a service group. Dr. Newton Malony's 'Religious Status Inventory' was used to measure the participants' faith maturity levels before and after their group participation.
