This research evaluated their current theological and philosophical understanding and their methodological practices of disciplemaking. Qualitative interviews and quantitative surveys were utilized to evaluate their practices of disciplemaking. The development of a theological framework and the literature reviews of current disciplemaking practices led to the qualitative interview and qualitative questions. The area of discipleship used to test this means of teaching was evangelism.  Each online class session included video teaching and follow-up questions that were answered in an online forum. I seek to marry church planting with discipleship, making discipleship the primary focus in the church planting endeavor. The aim is to provide the church planter with an appropriate purpose for planting a church as well as with an accurate picture of what discipleship looks like in order to produce and reproduce it. This work challenges the church planter to consider 'what' to plant more so than 'how' to plant. The church planter will be armed with a process for making disciples in and through his church plant and be free of having to retrofit a process. To achieve the goals for this project, the project director utilized an equipping model. The first phase of the project involved researching many different resources in the field of discipleship, disciple-making, and spiritual disciplines. The project director utilized these resources to produce the lessons used to equip the selected group. The second phase was to develop lesson plans to teach in a seminar format. The final phase of the project involved implementing the seminar for the training of the selected group. The seminar consisted of an introduction session, ten lessons during five sessions, and a concluding session. The seminar was conducted on five Sunday evenings. Matthew","Christian life","Christian education"],"language_tesim":["English"],"abstract_tesim":["To enable churches to fulfill the Great Commission of Christ (Matthew 28:19-20), this study proposes the employment of an Intentional Discipleship Ministry. Building on knowledge relative to biblical teachings, historical church discipleship, and contemporary literature on this subject, this study advocates the use of three phases of teaching to accomplish this goal. These are the study of a contemporary catechism; the development of Life Groups that incorporate Bible study, fellowship, and service; and a mentoring ministry that pairs spiritually older believers with spiritually younger believers. Pastors need to integrate preaching into their own Christian discipleship in order for preaching to have an impact on their congregation. Through this project I propose that preaching can enhance the Christian discipleship of the pastor through the use of Incarnational Exegesis, EPIC, Authentic and Integrated Preaching.
