The project director will gather information from a demographic study of the towns of Jonesboro-Hodge. Interviews with local officials will also be conducted in defining the ministry context of Hope Chapel. The director will interview leaders from several churches comparable to Hope Chapel to identify effective disciple-making practices. The project director will work with a project team of six individuals from Hope Chapel to develop a disciple-making strategy. The project team will assist the project director in exploring the demographics and data in and around Jonesboro-Hodge, in identifying disciple-making models of churches with similar characteristics as Hope Chapel, and developing a disciple-making strategy for Hope Chapel. The first step involved reseraching the field of expository preaching. The researcher also completed a sutdy on discipleship practices of the church. The project director then studied select passages from Mark based on the discipleship research, organizing them into a written series of sermons. This sermon series is expository in nature and highlights how to walk as a disciple. God commands believers to engage his word, and through obedience to this command, members have the opportunity for spiritual change. Scripture records both reading and/or listening as two mediums for engagement. In this project, the administrator directed members to engage Scripture through an aural medium. Listening and reflection templates along with five assessments provided measurable evaluations. Conquering can occur through application of an allegiance to Christ process. 'To spread the scriptural holiness over the land' is the message that characterizes a distinct and ultimate goal in his ministry and mission. My goal in this dissertation is to explore how sincerely and eagerly John Wesley pursued the holiness of heart and life, throughout his life journey. The study materials were delivered to participants in an online environment. The teaching goals of this Bible study were to enable believers to understand and reflect on essential Christian doctrines, apply it to their daily lives, and engage in biblical behavioural practices as a result.This project was conducted and tested with twenty participants. Data collection tools included an initial written narrative, the responses to a 14-week online study Created for Relationship, an online course evaluation survey, and a second written narrative. The findings indicate that CMB were aware of their need to learn and grow in their new relationship with God, however, discipleship in a world of online social connections requires the same intentional mentorship relationship as in-person discipleship. The completion of the project required extensive research in the fields of biblical discipleship couched in the context of Atkins, First Baptist Church. The project director studied the pirnciples from Scripture, read extensively from noted authors in the field of discipleship, considered various discipleship models, consulted experts, and sought the advice and assistance of other pastors. The discipleship director assembled a strategy leadership team from among the members of the church for the purpose of crafting a strategy for the context of First Baptist Church. The strategy was completed and presented to the church in a regular business session.
