The researcher addressed the need for more integration of the FAW movement at Westwood Community Church to achieve a more robust outreach and discipleship ministry in the church and working community. The church and world need the FAW movement's emphasis on the whole person. The conclusions showed that less bifurcating of clergy-laity, secular versus sacred, and work versus faith dualism would be helpful. Second, that working people should run the FAW movement. The model proposed that ministry activities iterate through four steps: continual feedback, communal reflection, specific action, and effective adjustment. The theological, historical and cultural factors in this phenomenon were first examined.  An ethnographic research project was then undertaken, with the usual consents and approvals, by Focus Groups before and after participation in the Renovaré Life Streams course by thirty members of the congregation in four study groups. Gaining clarity on and then dealing with this confusion became the driving impetus for the project. Our leadership team was confused about the definition and conception of discipleship (clarified through a study of Philippians), about divine-human dynamic of discipleship (clarified through an analysis of O'Donovan's Self, world, and time), and about how to overcome impediments and gaps within our individual histories of discipleship (clarified through in-depth interviews concerning discipleship). Fidelity: Discovering a Way that is Life-Giving introduced students to the Benedictine way of life, a way ordered around attentiveness to God, and the ancient discipline of abiding by a rule of life. Research results suggest that adult disciples who complete Fidelity grow in attentiveness. The first step of the project consisted of researching church and community demographics. During this step, the project director explored existing discipleship strategies of Christian churches and secular organizations. In the second step, the director led a discipleship strategy team to develop an adult discipleship strategy. In the third step of the project, the director presented the developed adult discipleship strategy to Oakville Baptist Church for approval. Oakville Baptist Church unanimously approved the adult discipleship strategy.
