The strategy utilized a qualitive research method and included revisions to the new member class and the recruiting and training of shepherd's partners, who helped new members through the initial phase of assimilation in the following areas: completion of the new member class, development of relationships, engagement in ministry opportunities, and receiving information that fosters their spiritual growth. This project describes the organization and execution of a discipling ministry as one part of an overall campus ministry effort in a Christian college.  The purpose of the campus discipling ministry was to strengthen and nurture the spiritual formation of students.  Eighty students who had participated in the formal discipling ministry completed Likert assessment tools.  The data was compiled and analyzed, discovering the strengths and weaknesses of the student discipling experience. Hewitt and Flett's theory (1991a, 98-101) provided the foundation for this group intervention, which included eight participants. The project sought to reduce perfectionism by identifying multiple cognitive behavioral strategies to address spiritual, cognitive, behavioral, and relational elements of perfectionism, as measured by the Multiple Perfectionism Scale (Hewitt and Flett, 1991b, 456-470) via a pretest and posttest methodology. To address the question, a focus group was engaged to study four disciplines of the faith: meditation, sabbath, commitment, and service, to determine if they would help facilitate a movement toward spiritual wholeness.  The findings indicated that there was a lack of awareness of the disciplines, combined with significant life components that vied for their attention.
