It is a method for doing the EMR with a small group for a period of six weeks, with emphasis on a biblical and theological understanding of Christian stewardship.  The intention is to provide more depth and involvement in the mission of the congregation, resulting in increased member participation and support.  A pilot test was conducted at Grace Lutheran Church (Wyndmoor, PA), resulting in significant increases in pledges of time, abilities and resources. The study includes a look at how worship and financial stewardship are linked.  A survey was made of 32 Presbyterian churches, each with 2000 members or more.  Active laity and clergy attitudes and practices were uncovered.  Campaign practices were surveyed.
