The community of faith was by God's design to be an inclusive community.  The growing ethnic diversity in our society today presents a challenge to the local congregation to be intentional in its ministry to incorporate people of diverse cultural and racial experiences into its fellowship.  A congregation to be successful in building an inclusive ministry must first begin to value diversity as a gift of God.  The local congregation can begin to appreciate the ethnic diversity of its members as a gift of God through Bible study, small group sharing, and sermons. The Chinese community in North America is still a distinct community within a Western society, and has little Christian pre-evangelism factors to build on.  This ministry project was carried out first by equipping two laymen in continuing witness training, followed by three pre-marital preparation (pastoral) counseling training sessions.  The sessions dealt with such issues as reasons for pre-marital preparation, communication, listening, acceptance, Gospel, finances, and in-laws. The artists adapted their art forms from secular society. Church architecture largely originated from traditional culture. One might conclude that Christian art has some Minjung elements. Korea has a rich cultural background with diverse, excellent artistic achievements.  Yet many Christian artists still are holding a conservative attitude influenced by Western thought patterns.  It is time to de-westernize Christian art in Korea. The research was done through a series of questionnaires and evaluations which influenced the content of the seminar. The seminar was planned and implemented as a two-hour seminary course. The church has lacked sufficient teachers to cover the needs in the Sunday School classes. This project was designed to train six to eight persons as teachers for young people and adults.  The areas of training chosen were the privileges and responsibilities of a Sunday School teacher, the revelation of the redemptive message of salvation, regional differences of the Spanish language and culture, basic methods of teaching, the organization of Sunday School classes, and characteristics of the adult and young people groups.  Preparation for the project included research, writing of a prospectus, selection of materials, church planning, and enlistment of trainees.  Implementation of the project covered a six-week period. The evaluation was conducted through the use of three kinds of questionnaires filled out by the trainees. The author and nine members of St John's United Methodist Church in Gbarnga, Liberia, studied the book of Exodus and focused on issues of contextualization.  They identified issues common to Hebrew and Kpelle cultures, and considered tribal elements such as proverbs, stories, idioms, and theology.
