Dr. John Sung spoke to the Chinese people in various meetings and many turned to the Lord. While preaching, Dr. Sung would often spontaneously interrupt the preaching to lead the congregation in hymnal choruses. The singing plus his message led many people to the Lord. In the 1990's, the Chinese churches in China increased rapidly and many people were spiritually revived and came to know the Lord. One of the reasons why the number of Christians has grown in China has been because of how God has used a young village girl, Xiao Min, to write hundreds of worship hymns by the moving of the Holy Spirit and many were moved by the hymnal singing. The author believes that a true and concise biblical manual will train the Chinese house church leaders, who in turn can help house church Christians to understand the Bible in a way that will eliminate heresies, strengthen faith, and lead them to the kingdom of God. The author researched widely in terms of books, articles, and trustworthy websites. He used a narrative approach as this best suits the subject matter. The author researched whether confusion about cessationism in non-charismatic evangelical churches in southern Spain comes from the lack of a clear explanation of cessationism. The research method was to have 27 readers from 10 non-charismatic churches read a manuscript explaining cessationism and complete pre- and post-reading questionnaires to evaluate its usefulness. The results showed that the explanation helped reduce confusion about cessationism. Over 90% of the readers understood and affirmed it more.
