The present educational and ministry models of the church are not balanced, strategic, and intentional to transform the poor communities. In response to the problem, the researcher employed phenomenology and grounded theory as the methods of study and thus he developed a Christ-centered educational and ministry model (CEMM) that has the potential to bring holistic transformation. This model is built on the concept that transforming self is foundational to transforming society. This project proposes a holistic framework that might guide congregations in the work of healing and reconciliation. The report focuses on the relationship of two churches, one Black and one White, and explores the role dialogue plays in the healing journey of reconciliation.
