The preaching acts resulted in positive change in the actions and thought patterns of both the lay-leaders and congregants.  The hermeneutical and homiletical tools gave the voice and vision for understanding both the biblical and life text as interdependent allies. Participants were led to discover five ministry needs in their community. After prioritizing the needs and assessing available resources, the participants agreed on one ministry their church would start. The ministry was recommended to the church for approval and implementation. At the conclusion of the project, all four of the churches voted to begin specific community ministries.
