The difficulty in that objective is based on the nature of the relationship of the church and denomination.  That relationship is one based solely on a voluntary cooperation wherein the local church is independent and autonomous. The project required research in the area of group dynamics as this writer had to lead in a dialogue process with a group of congregational leaders. By means of this informational process, the author sought to present a balanced overview of the controversy which would enable the participants to draw their own conclusions of the subject.
