Investors owning and buying properties for speculation place the church in a lopsided competition for property ownership.  Assumptions of some churchgoers who understand the steepled church building as an authenticating symbol require a pastor to address perceptions hindering church growth.  This project offers findings that suggest that people are tied to a steepled-church concept.
