The experimental group participated in a five hour training seminar.  Both groups took an objective test. Each member of the groups was evaluated as he or she led a decision-making encounter.  A comparison of the scores of the experimental and control groups was the basis of the project evaluation. The pre-test was given prior to two workshops at which the writer conducted seminars on team building principles. At the end of a year, the post-test was given and the scores were compared. The objectives of the project were geared toward developing the small group program to be part of the pastoral care and evangelism programs of the church.
