Jesus summed up these as the two most important commands. The purpose of this project was three-fold: to explore how people understood what it means to practice loving God and others to determine the impact this has on their spiritual growth; to determine if Christians demonstrate a holistic approach to loving God, or instead have a primary or choose a preferred method to loving and drawing close to God; and last, to work with individuals and small groups of Christians to recognize the import and centrality of the commands. The project occurred in seven stages. A comparison of the information gathered from the focus-group research to the post-training survey indicated the success of the project. Nonetheless a finding emerged revealing that in general participants did not understand and pr  actice loving God and loving others in the manner prescribed and exhorted throughout Scripture. As its pastor, the author taught the congregation the best practice of radical hospitality, and instituted generational transition for 2014 church leadership. The hospitality ministries team was created. In eighteen months' practice and teaching of radical hospitality, most key leaders are now younger, relatively new, or more engaging.  The hospitality and shepherding ministry team actively practices radical hospitality for the congregation. The congregation has been appreciative of the new culture of hospitality. The goal of this project is to understand the principles behind the Bible's small groups, to understand the activity of small group movements by early Methodists and the modern cell movement, and to find a new model for the Luz Methodist Church. This project that the Luz members and I have worked together on for RELUZ (to light up again) revitalized the Luz church and brought in new members. Substantial church growth and revitalization came from remodeling the church through small groups combined with the cell church movement. A likert scale assessment tool was used to measure the group experience impact on the areas of spiritual, emotional, mental, volitional, behavioral, and relational well-being. The most prominent finding was increased spiritual wholeness through inner healing prayer which positively impacted their spiritual well-being. Materials used were a movie and a questionnaire.
