(FBCT) The first step was an analysis of the congregation, historical trends of FBCT, and the surrounding community. Statistical information was gathered from the Annual Church Profile reports, along with insights gained during my tenure as pastor. The North America Mission Board provided demographic information. I then conducted research in the field of church revitalization to determine best practices.\r\n\r\nA leadership team was formed from select members of FBCT. The team met \r\nregularly to discuss critical issues associated with revitalization, the unique character of FBCT, and the ministry challenges and opportunities in our community. With this information, the team formulated a revitalization strategy for the FBCT. The strategy was then presented to the church for approval. The project began by researching the internal and external demographics of Providence. Next, extensive research of revitalization principles was conducted through exploring church revitalization literature. The internal and external demographics gave direction on which revitalization principles would be effective in the context of Providence. After selecting the relevant revitalization principles, I convened a strategy team. The selected men and women represented various ministries, personalities, age groups, and spiritual gifts to promote diversity. The strategy team then developed    \r\naction steps to implement the determined revitalization principles. Arguing that missionary discipleship moves at the speed of quality relationships, it proposes that a healthy social field—marked by trust, openness, and communion—between bishop and priests structurally amplifies missionary vibrancy. Integrating Catholic ecclesiology, organizational development theory, and mixed-methods research with priests across multiple dioceses, the study identifies attitudes and practices that strengthen or weaken this social field.
