The overarching research question was 'What leadership practices of senior pastors of Southern Baptist Churches in South Carolina with 500 or more worship attenders have enabled those churches to grow rapidly for three consecutive years?'  Grounded Theory was the method used in this research.  A 360 degree interview approach with the senior pastor and three key leaders in each church provided the data for research. The methodology used was a workshop, worship services, questionnaires, a sermon, and surveys. To evaluate the project, the author used focus groups and written evaluations. I present a narrative of an evangelism model that will stimulate church growth.  Various evangelism components with innovative methods and training sessions belonged to the project.  The results of this case study confirmed that churches which participated acquired membership growth. He developed a strategy to aid the church in getting out of the plateau and to regain regional influence. The author concluded that plateaued churches can once again grow if the correct strategy is implemented.  The purposes of the project were to generate a new sense of direction and vision for specific areas within the church body that would aid it in regaining regional influence and to develop a tool to aid other churches in accomplishing the same goal.  A Creative Leadership Team (CLT), a nine-person visionary team consisting of a cross-section of individuals voted on by the church, prayerfully discovered the mission and vision of First Baptist Church-Longview during the strategic planning process. It made recommendations to the church for becoming a regionally influential congregation again.
