Because the project is not able to continue monitoring and encouraging concrete activities of participants, gains made by the conference are not consolidated. The project demonstrates that a proactive strategy to renew a congregation can affect attitudes and perceptions of members positively, but improved rates of growth and assimilation are more difficult to attain and require great intentionality on the part of everyone involved. Leadership training develops a leadership community, which redesigns the confirmation process for grades six to eight as a small-group approach.
