Dr. John Sung spoke to the Chinese people in various meetings and many turned to the Lord. While preaching, Dr. Sung would often spontaneously interrupt the preaching to lead the congregation in hymnal choruses. The singing plus his message led many people to the Lord. In the 1990's, the Chinese churches in China increased rapidly and many people were spiritually revived and came to know the Lord. One of the reasons why the number of Christians has grown in China has been because of how God has used a young village girl, Xiao Min, to write hundreds of worship hymns by the moving of the Holy Spirit and many were moved by the hymnal singing. The first section covers the geopolitical situation in the world and the human situation in the city, both of which indicate the need for ministry to world-class cities. The second section establishes the hermeneutical, theological, ecclesiological, missiological, and apologetical parameters within which this thesis project is written. The third section identifies the dilemma in the city, studies the various Christian responses to the city, and reviews evangelical ministry in Boston. The fourth section evaluates the church-planting ministry with which the writer of this thesis has been involved thus far. On the basis of the findings of these sections, a new ministry plan is presented, encompassing the planting of a model church and the establishment of local, regional, continental, and international networks. With the population decline and aging of the Upper Midwest, many congregations are no longer able to support full-time ordained pastors. Congregations of several denominations have pressed into service licensed local pastors, and other lay persons to preach. United Methodist preachers serving in rural parishes in Iowa were coached in various aspects of preaching. This is also an on-going issue occurring in Canada. The purpose of this study is to describe how two Chinese congregations and a mission organization evangelize older people in the city of Toronto. The researcher utilized a mixed methods approach to collect ethnographic data of Christian efforts evangelizing older people by the three groups of Christians. Resultados: los creyentes de las iglesias biblicas de México están agregando cualidades gerenciales a las cualidades del liderazgo expresamente citades en la Biblia como consecuencia de la influencia de la literatura que en la actualidad lo promueve. Hoy se buscan lideres con habilidades gerenciales-administrativas para la iglesia. Congregational health demonstrated by longer tenures of church leaders and conflict with less intensity and better resolution has occurred as leaders understand and apply systems thinking, recognize the problems and issues in systems, and remain differentiated in difficult situations. The project accomplished these goals. During the third phase, associational leaders adopted the new strategy to empower Greater Orlando Baptist Association churches to train believers who think and live as missionaries. As a result of the project, the director enhanced his knowledge of the Sunday School/small group ministries of missional churches and his strategy development
