Prime's The power of prayer and Talbot Chambers's The noon prayer meeting of the North Dutch Church, Fulton Street, New York, this study seeks to expand the narrative to include the historical material of the time.  This project includes an examination of literature seeking relevant opinions and insights into the Fulton Street prayer meetings.  The foundational historical framework for the revival is presented in two elements.  First, an examination is made of the historical context of the revival, including changes in the United States from 1812 to the Civil War, focusing on the economic, geographic, political, journalistic, and social elements. The study used a survey to gather information on their ethnic identity, their experience at church, their evaluation of church ministry, as well as their aspirations for the future. There is a predictable development pattern for the EM in a typical immigrant church, and key steps that must be taken in order to allow it to grow to maturity. Two areas that are explored in detail are leadership development, including leadership structure, and the influence of ethnic identity and other factors on the decision of adult ABCs about attendance of a Chinese church. This study highlights the most often faced biblical and cultural issues in Chinese churches. The author interviewed 13 of the largest Chinese churches in the San Francisco Bay area to discover their candidating process.  As a result, key principles and a ministry model were developed to clarify these issues. It is a study of ten Brethren churches in Singapore. Using the case study method, the study considers the process undertaken by the churches in identifying potential leaders, encouraging and preparing them for leadership, and appointing them to assume full leadership responsibilities in the local churches as elders, thus ensuring leadership continuity. The analysis of the research was synthesized into twelve significant observations. The congregation is a small Presbyterian church located across the street from a Presbyterian-related liberal arts college, in north-west Texas, where the community and church are in transition. Their work, however, has not yet had a great impact on the Muslim sector of the population.  This study attempts to find solutions to this problem.  It consists of two surveys.  The first shows the attitudes and practices of the churches concerning church planting.  The second gives counsel from Muslim ministry workers on how to get the job done. They can be combined with evangelism to form the outreach ministry of the church to its community.  Various Chinese churches in different countries have used this model of sharing the love and the gospel of Christ through evangelism and social services.  The focus of this project is the development of a community ministry plan for a Chinese church in Canada.  The author surveyed over a hundred and fifty Chinese churches in eastern Canada and conducted in-depth interviews with four of the churches with community ministry.  Furthermore, three community service organizations in Ottawa where the author's church is located were interviewed in order to better assess the needs of the community.  Based on the findings of the research, a plan is developed to implement community ministry. An action research program was designed for officers of the church.  The program incorporated theoretical aspects as well as practical examples.
