The project followed the ministry research model.  The project director researched evangelism trained resources and methods.  The research led to the development of an annotated bibliography, a comparison grid, and a paper identifying effective evangelism training characteristics.  The fruit of the research aided in the developemnt of the conference model. Conference materials were presented to the state evangelism division director and the conference model was piloted. Eleven study participants photographed common parish events to communicate self-selected themes.  These elements were grounded in everyday life, conveying the integration of traditional Anglican values with challenges of multicultural life in a northwest Detroit neighborhood.  Through discussion and group process, a congregational mission statement evolved as 'Christian community spreading out into secular community.' The project report addresses causes of misunderstandings between churches and pastors toward academia in the historic, multi-ethnic, socio-economic, and cultural context of Moldova.  The project involved participation by a select group of Russian-speaking students at CTE in seminars where these problems were identified and analyzed. Government policies in some states in northern Nigeria are tilted to favor Muslims. The enforcement of the sharia legal system in twelve northern states in Nigeria has marginalized the Christians and made the mission and evangelism of the Church difficult. The innovation by the Wusasa Diocese to reach out using techniques like personal evangelism, discipleship, dialogue, education and poverty alleviation programmes are yielding results. Muslims are coming to know Jesus as Lord and Saviour. Dialogue has helped to minimize violence and has promoted mutual understanding between Christians and Muslims. The survey of Washington State congregations will seek to validate the hypothesis that the gospel is understood as in the lordship salvation tradition rather than free grace tradition.  The purpose of the research project is embedded in the question, 'what is the gospel and how is it understood by people in the pews?' In order to test the hypothesis and answer the question, this researcher did the following: developed two separate survey questionnaires, one survey for the pastors of Washington State CBA churches and one survey for the congregants of Washington State CBA churches. The two surveys were then evaluated for areas of agreement and disagreement.
