The project provides a scriptural study of the responsibilities of laity and clergy, combined with a study of human resource management techniques/philosophies and performance appraisal reviews from industry and agencies to create a congenial atmosphere in which constructive conversation and criticism of both offices can occur. Through using team-building techniques the writer sought to improve the effectiveness of the group by reducing conflict and building cohesive relationships within the church's pastoral staff.  The project required ten seminar sessions and a two-session workshop to complete the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator.  The major components of the project were: goal setting, communication, conflict management, personality type, and spiritual gifts.
