Our shift from the right to the left socially and theologically has had a profound impact on the use of the intinerate evangelist at the end of the 20th century.  A survey instrument was used to determine the validity of this thesis.  The survey did not prove this thesis but did indicate the declining use of the itinerate evangelist.
