To this end, detailed and extensive research was carried out on the Church and architecture. And then, based on the research results, education was offered to members in the church for the sake of getting the biblical meaning of the church and the scientific concept of architecture understood; afterward, in conjunction with the education, a special prayer campaign and spiritual retreat were carefully organized and officially executed. Using quantitative and qualitative research methods to study the impact of the revitalization training on the participants, the researcher concluded that the hypothesis was correct.  The theological chapter studies church revitalization leaders as strategic, missionary leaders. The researcher's project serves as a guide to awaken highly dysfunctional and dying churches--through a theological revisioning--to the mission of God within a culture where the Church is increasingly marginalized.  To test the effectiveness of the researcher's project, two churches were selected as case studies. Using resources modeled on palliative care, leaders assist congregants through the stages of merger or closure.
