Three exercises were employed to (1) create an awareness of the need for change and to identify church leaders who are innovators and early adopters; (2) appraise the heritage, skills, and spiritual gifts of the congregation; and (3) take a fresh look at the community to discern its needs. The author used inteviews, surveys, observations, and group discussions with participants to find the current state of the congregation. Listening to various voices from different people in the community enabled us to see where the church stands and where to take the next step. The author researched the result using surveys before and after studying Hanukkah Bible Study. The results were that the Hanukkah Bible Study 101 and 201 influenced a positive effect in participants' faith and their church life, as well as improvement in the church's ministry. In order to do so, the author made efforts to establish the essence and purpose of the class meeting by exploring the theological background of the class meeting from the Wesleyan perspective. The author also tried to find the reason for the revitalization and degeneration of the class meeting by studying the history of the class meetings in the Anglican, the American, and the Korean Methodist churches, respectively. In this reality, this paper is a practical product of applying the principles of the youth revival discovered in 'the revival of the Bible,' 'the natural church development theory,' and 'the great revival movement of the Korean church' to the youth division of Hwado Methodist Church for the revival.
