Participants took a mission trip to visit a rural church school in Haiti and were then interviewed about their experience. Family systems theory and the theology of service and relationships informed the project and the interpretation of the outcomes. New, lasting interpersonal bonds among the travelers were evident, as were strengthened ties to the sister institutions. The case of this study is Ehwa Media High School.  this study proposes a spiritual education with these steps: meeting God, meeting our neighbors, and meeting ourselves.  It suggests the following proposals: spiritual education is needed in religious education of the school.  Knowledge-based religious education needs to be reconsidered.  Spiritual education brings about the participation of students and their transformation.  Spiritual education helps students have a good image of Christianity.
