It addresses the persistent reluctance of Vietnamese Church leaders to confront this issue, a reluctance often rooted in cultural, systemic, and theological barriers. Drawing upon interdisciplinary research in sociology, psychology, and trauma studies, alongside a re-examination of Catholic theological foundations on human dignity and marital equality, this work proposes and evaluates a Prophetic Pastoral Narrative Preaching Model.
